This beautifully crafted dog lead is handmade in the UK through a special collaboration between Creature Clothes and the Master Ropemakers at The Historic Dockyard in Chatham. Using traditional techniques, the Ropemakers create the rope on the historic ¼ mile ropewalk, operating Victorian machinery to make this durable, natural Chatham Hemp rope. Creature Clothes then finishes each lead in their Suffolk workshop with a soft, vegetable-tanned leather handle, giving you both comfort and strength—perfect for everyday walks with strong dogs.

Available in two options, Chunky (14mm) and Skinny (10mm), this eco-friendly lead is completely free of dyes, plastics, and toxins, allowing the natural colour and softness of the hemp rope to shine. Each lead matures and softens with time, becoming even more comfortable in your hands. You can choose between a leather or rope handle, and either way, you’ll have a timeless, stylish lead that’s as sturdy as it is unique.
